"For me the journey of Candlelit Moments started in 2002, when a friend received a basket from me and brought to my attention that I had an eye for making creative gifts. Now, with the support of my husband and 3 sons, I am making my dream a reality. I get to be home with the kids and use my creativity everyday. I believe that a gift should be something unique and one you will always remember. More than just a quick trip to the store or a rush delivery of flowers."

"My involvement with Candlelit Moments started when Dedie sold some of her baskets at my parents gift shop on their christmas tree farm. She asked if I wanted to join her in making the business a success. I am a mother of 2 girls and a Navy wife. I personally know what it is like to have those special occasions missed as my husband was out to sea the day our first daughter was born. I believe that a gift needs to show a creative thought process, even if it is just something as simple as a delivery by someone other than a man in a brown truck."
